We prefer an initial inquiry by phone, email or letter telling us something about the project and prospective author. If emailing, then please address your inquiry to Mary Cunnane and copy Isobel Wightman. If we are interested,
we will ask you to send the entire manuscript along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope sufficiently large to post the manuscript back to you. We strive to read and respond within 4-6 weeks of receipt of the manuscript.
If you are a publishing novice and would like guidance about how literary agents and book publishers operate, we strongly suggest you contact the Australian Society of Authors at www.asauthors.org and/or the Writers' Centre in the state in which you reside for advice.
